Dear Birth Mother,
We can’t thank you enough for taking the time to read our letter and look over our family book. We truly appreciate the consideration to be THE family. If chosen, we promise you that this baby will be loved, cherished and made to feel special every single day!
My name is Christine and my husband’s name is Mike. We actually grew up together and then reconnected later in life; we share many of the same childhood friends! We grew up just north of Philadelphia, in Bucks County PA. After high school Christine lived in both downtown Philadelphia and New York City and Mike stayed local to the area we grew up in. We have since purchased our beautiful “forever” home right outside the Princeton New Jersey area allowing us to be close to Mikes son, Lucas (12 years old), along with most of our family and friends. Mike and I have been trying to have a baby of our own for the past three years now and sadly have not had success. We would LOVE more than anything to provide Lucas with a sibling.
A little bit about myself and my husband... Mike is super handy and loves doing projects around our home; but only if his favorite football team is not playing, otherwise you are sure to see him cheering on his life-Iong NFL team! He is also a huge fan of the beach; the warmth, the sun and palm trees whenever possible! Christine is extremely active and loves the outdoors. You can find her running most mornings, but she also loves finding new hiking locations! There’s nothing like getting to the top and seeing the beautiful views from high above and creating memories with friends and family along the way. Together we also enjoy a “family sport”, which is snowboarding and Skiing! Lucas picked up the sport two years ago and is slowly becoming a pro each time we visit a mountain (we even have an indoor option nearby for the summer months)!
If given the chance, this baby will be able to experience a broad range of experiences and cultures in our family. We have a melting pot of ethnicities throughout the family, including Caucasian, Spanish Asian and Persian. Every holiday, and family gathering, is guaranteed to include multiple languages yelling on top of one another! :) We have so much fun being able to celebrate everyone’s background.
More about these amazing families.. both Mike and Christine come from large families. Christine has four siblings and Mike has one. Nieces and nephews alone are 10 strong, ranging from 8 months to 21yrs old. Then add in Mike’s 9 cousins and with their 18 kiddos; that adds a lot more fun to the Chaos!
We also cant forget to mention our fur-babies! :) We have two Vizslas that keep us busy! One, Prancer, the female, is two years old and loves chasing birds in the backyard! She begs to go out constantly for fear of missing out on a passing bird! The other, Max, the male, is 9yrs and is Christine’s running/hiking buddy! He’s not into the birds as much as Prancer is. He more worried about being his mom’s sidekick!
Overall, we hope you enjoyed getting to know us in this short version above. We thank you for being courageous and giving us the opportunity to share our life with you. We hope we were able to show you how much fun and love we have to give! Family is everything to us and we hope that you will chose us to teach these values.
